Cosplay Contest

Registration

•Registration Deadline: 30 min before start time

•Registration Fee: $5.00 per person

•Eligibility: The cosplay competition is open to any competitor entering a costume

that has been sourced from anime, manga, game, and Japanese culture, it is expected that all costumes will be related to it. (Marvel/U.S. made cartoons are not eligible for participation)

Contest Rules

1. Participants must sign an Entry Form.

2. Interested participants sign up at the Otaku Recon Registration/Info Booth.

3.We highly recommend providing a printed picture of the anime character being portrayed, this picture will be given to the Registration/Info Booth for the judge’s reference

4.No messy substances that might ruin the costume of another contestant will be allowed. If you are wearing body paint or make-up, please make sure it will not come off in casual contact with others.

5.Please remember that we are all here to have fun. Please enjoy yourselves and please refrain from doing things that may ruin other attendee's rights to have a good, safe enjoyable time. Failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave the premises.

•The competitors (individual) will do the following on stage; walk onto stage in character, and pose for approximately 10 seconds for photo opportunities and exit out of stage.

•Judging will be based on Execution, Accuracy, Relevance, and the WOW Factor.
